Description
In this extensive course you'll learn to develop enterprise (web) applications using the Spring Framework. The Spring Framework has many aspects from the core Dependency Container and Aspect Oriented Programming to building web applications using Web MVC and service integration. In this course you'll learn to use all aspects of the framework that are necessary in an enterprise environment using the most actual version of the framework.

Data access is an important aspect for most enterprise (web) applications. JPA / Hibernate is the most used Object Relational Mapping framework and integrates perfectly within Spring. Although JPA simplifies data access enormously compared to plain JDBC it's still a very complex topic. In this course you'll learn JPA (based on Hibernate) from basic usage to advanced mappings and performance considerations. Of course you'll also integrate JPA with Spring using declarative transaction management.

In this course you'll learn to build web complex web applications using Spring Web MVC including AJAX and RESTful Web Services. You'll also learn to integrate applications using SOAP Web Services and JMS. Besides building applications you'll also learn how to create unit tests based on the Spring container.
